Hi, John here.
I’ve always believed in transparency and want to disclose how The Salon Business blog generates income.
The goal of the blog is to help as many salon owners as possible to create a profitable business. To do that, I put out a lot of free content (you may have noticed? :)) that tackles the common business challenges salon owners face. This comes with a cost to me and, as this blog is all about growing your business, I wouldn’t be a good example if I didn’t manage to grow my own business as well 🙂
To keep this blog going, there’s currently two ways that it generates income which comes at no cost to you: via advertizing and affiliate links.
Advertizing on The Salon Business Blog
I know. Ads can be annoying. But I don’t think the ones I show on this website are. I’m actually very restrictive with ads and would only show ads from good advertzing networks and partners that doesn’t compromize the experience of the blog.
Affiliate Links on The Salon Business Blog
Affiliate Links are special links that, when you click on them and decide to purchase a product, I may earn a small commission. This doesn’t come with any cost to you of course. I only link to products and services that I’ve investigated and personally believe will add value to you.
Examples would include Bluehost, Wix, Leadpages, ConvertKit, and Salon Iris. However, you should assume that any links leading you to products or services are affiliate links that I will receive compensation from just to be safe.
The Salon Business is also a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.
Thank you for making this blog possible by using the affiliates links on the blog when you decide to purchase a product I link to.
I’d also recommend you to investigate affiliate links further as this could be an additional source of income also for your salon business.
If you have any questions on this, please don’t hesitate to contact me using the contact page.
Have a great day,
